The AOS® System was initially developed for medical bags being used in high mountain and air rescue environments. The aim was to accommodate a maximum number of ampules while minimizing size, weight, and cube. After two years of development, the AOS® system was created.
The AOS® system successfully passed winter operational testing at Camp Rena, Norway in January 2017, and in now fielded to Special Forces, Conventional, Home Guard units, and EMS services throughout Europe. Bloodstone is proud to have worked with the AOS® System since 2016 and we have utilized it for R&D programs / specialty kits fielded in the US and Canada.
The AOS® system is the world's most compact ampularium on the market with the highest absorption capacity and shock mitigation for ampules of all sizes.
The basis is a very precisely and patented double frame with carrier rails. The clip holders, which can be individually attached to the rails in any order, ensure a clear shatterproof arrangement of the ampules allowing for maximum customization at the individual unit level medic. The drug names are legible and unobscured. The AOS® System with their cushioning shells are available in different sizes and shapes for every application. Transparent pockets allow accessories to be accommodated without loss of height.
The AOS6 frame rail offers space for up to 100 ampules in practical application. Intended for rescue equipment that has to carry a large number of ampules for tactical reasons. Extensive assembly ensures a high overview and facilitates alphabetical arrangement.
